About Powertrust

We don't introduce you to developers. We contract them for you.

Powertrust started in 2020 as Positive Capital Partners and co-led the D-REC Initiative with South Pole, funded by Shell Foundation, to create a certificate that small distributed projects could issue. In 2023 Salesforce signed the first multi-year agreement. In 2025 Microsoft signed for 270 MW of new distributed solar across Mexico and Brazil. Today we are a principal counterparty supplying across 23 countries, based in Vancouver with teams in Canada, India, Malaysia, Brazil and the United States.
